Türkiye Enhances Air Passenger Rights with New Compensation Rules for Flight Delays

Recent updates to Türkiye's Regulation on Air Passenger Rights (SHY-Yolcu) introduce new compensation rules for delays of 3+ hours. For domestic flights, passengers are entitled to €100, while compensation for international flights is based on distance: €250 for short flights, €400 for medium-range, and €600 for long-haul. These changes, effective December 10, 2024, aim to better protect passenger rights.
